a bit of a break

thanks to mark speaking to the powers things are starting to fall back our way.
five different groups have already registered with the agent to look through our little house. we’re going to open up shop on saturday. i have a game plan. it is this:
target the ladies. lead the ladies directly to the bathroom and extoll virtues of beautiful newly installed clawfoot bath. then i will say, “i’ll give you a few minutes to think about it.” like i’m the host of Sale Of The Century.
then they’ll be like us ladies a year and a half a go and declare, “we’ll take it!” and we won’t have to pay double rent.
I knew a quiet word would do the trick
if anyone asks about the neighbours lie through your teeth!! they won’t know the truth until it’s too late.

i just showed through the first group of people and they didn’t ask me anything at all and kind of looked at our stuff like, “ewww” so I’ve decided that I’ll mention something if people ask me, but the likelihood of that happening is not very high.
