When you spend your hard-earned money on a Pantone book, make sure you ask for the Color Bridge (Figure 1). This version, formerly known as Solid to Process, has the Pantone solid color right next to the CMYK process version (or as close to it as CMYK can get).

You will also see RGB and HTML (hexadecimal) values for these colors. This book helps the designer (and printer and customer) really see what a specific color will look like in print (CMYK) — irrespective of the print process employed.
