Taking a leap of faith

This year, so far, has been about throwing cards into the air and seeing where they land.

I have met my first quarter sales projections for NEIS, which means I continue on the scheme for at least another six months, hopefully nine months (that would mean hitting the next quarter’s targets too which I should be able to do).

On a personal level, it’s been a good learning experience that the dream of freelancing at home is not all you expect, and marketing is unpleasant and will continue to be so until the end of time.

I’ve also made a number of mistakes, which I won’t detail, but I guess that’s what the scheme is about. Make mistakes in the first year, and by second year when you’re on your own, make far fewer mistakes.

All in all the business can afford to buy me a beer tonight.
