hello who are you

i think we are (all three of us) still a little shell-shocked but we are doing well. Eilis is wonderful with the baby. I am trying to be as helpful as possible & I have this week off work. We are beginning to realise that taking one hour at a time is a good approach […]

it’s all happening

the things that happen when you are in early labour are happening at the moment - it’s about 10am. looks like this little person is going to stick to the rules and arrive on her due date. we are both unexpectedly calm after spending the last week freaking out (in our own personal styles). weird.

Reasons to love Joss Whedon #5,487

mostly for my own reference

A couple of weeks ago a nutritionist from my health insurance company called me as part of a program they are running to ensure their clients live long and don’t make any claims. We talked about healthy eating and healthy sleep-cycles and healthy exercise regimes and wouldn’t you know, I am pretty much unhealthy.

waiting

J.Le just had her weekly appointment with the obs. And … it could all be up to three weeks away. Yarrgh! J.Le exercised self-control and didn’t clutch the obs’ arm and say “GET. IT. OUT. OF. Me”. If I was in her position, I might have done that.

things that are happening

1. We are worshipping the great god of doing nothing.
2. i have been trying to finish off work things
3. i carry my car keys around with me at all times. also mobile, if leaving the house. this is a first. i like to call my mobile a stationary, because i leave it in one spot […]

You’ll come by my door, like you did before …

I watched Eurovision for the first time this weekend. It was enjoyable, even though I had no […]

stripey suit count now = 10
recent thought - do i need to first sterilise the sterilising unit? it seems the answer to that question is no. or an endless cycle of perpetual sterilising.
we now have five sterilised dummies, two glow in the dark ones. should be handy if we accidentally lose her one night …

i am in your brain freaking you outz

this is a photographic representation of my immediate future. invisible zombie ghost babies wearing stripey suits attack blogsite. mayhem ensues.

Count down

Ticker says 13 days to go.
Also stripey suit count currently = 9.
Batten down the hatches.
